FIRE IN THE BLOOD update

Finished the first full length draft of FIRE IN THE BLOOD this morning. It’s a touch over 70,000 words but I’d expect another 10k when I’m done editing. There’s a couple of big problems with the ending that I need to fix (one of the things I love about writing…) and some minor details to tweak, but generally I’m really happy with it – on track for Jan.

Yeah – I seem to be able to churn out decent quality prose pretty quickly. It’s all in the planning, I guess. Still a way away from finishing…
